A. MEMBERSHIP
The WCC shall have only one class of members. Each member shall have the same rights, privileges, restrictions, and conditions. Eligibility for membership is restricted to individuals over 18 years in age whose primary residence is within Townships 20 North and 21 North of Range 17 West and Township 21 North of Range 18 West of the Mount Diablo base meridian. Memberships are non-transferable and shall cease upon death or disqualification.
Applicants shall be admitted to membership upon registering with the Secretary by mail at 24900 Abalone St, Westport CA 95488 or by completing a digital form and paying annual dues determined from time to time by the Board of Trustees. Memberships run by calendar year with a renewal notice E-mailed to members and provided to the community in a local newsletter on or before December The Secretary shall maintain a membership book listing the names, mailing addresses, and membership status.
Memberships may be terminated by the Board of Trustees when:

The member moves to a primary residence outside of the local area as defined above.

Upon non-payment of annual dues.

Upon death of the member.

Upon determination that the member has engaged in conduct materially and seriously prejudicial to the interests or purposes of the corporation.

All rights of a member in the corporation shall cease on termination of membership.
B. MEMBER RIGHTS
Members have the right to elect Trustees and confirm or veto all changes in the Articles of Incorporation pursuant to Article VII(B) and certain changes in these Bylaws pursuant to Article VII(C).
Members are encouraged to participate in all Board meetings and shall be given at least three (3) days advance notice of those meetings in a local newsletter, email, and/or posted on the community bulletin board or by other forms of notification.
